Kia-Ora mini farm The Kia-Ora mini farm is only three miles from Courtown, off the Gorey - Courtown road. Families, schools are all welcome. All weather viewing as most animals are indoors. Many of the animals on view include tropical birds, fish, Jacob sheep, pheasants, baby deer, bronze turkeys, mules, pigs, chipmunks, ducks and geese.

Glenroe Farm Glenroe Farm welcomes visitors from March to October each year. This family-run farm offers hours of fun and relaxation for all ages. Here you can get close to a wide variety of farm animals and pets, including Sika deer, sheep, lambs, cattle, pigs, goats, ducks, geese, turkeys, peacocks, hens and chicks. Mount Usher Gardens Laid out along the banks of the River Vartry, Mount Usher has been designed in the Robinsonian* style. Maritime Museum Arklow's Maritime Museum is well worth a visit and depicts the strong seafaring history and tradition of the town. This delightful miscellany of material includes everything from old navigational instruments to a uniform worn by a merchant navy officer and a shoe worn by a woman passenger on the ill-fated Lusitania.

Arklow Golf Club Tightly routed links with fine coastal views. Water crosses seven holes and comes into play on a further three holes. It is short at 6000 yards, only far five is at 18, but is a test of accuracy, with 5 par threes. Like most links it is playable throughout the year. The Sunny Southeast Corner Cycling Tour A cycle in the sunny southeast corner can be a gentle journey all the way. Miles of silver sand lie close to the route, which never climbs above 90m. The southern part is flat, with dykes and polders, one of them a famous wildfowl reserve and haunt of thousands of wild geese in winter. Wicklow, Arklow and Wexford are seaports founded by the Vikings. At river crossings there are historic market towns like New Ross and Enniscorthy. On the south coast, on a lovely stretch of water, there is Lady's Island. Hook Head is the most southerly point on the route, a tough cycle but very beautiful.
